Shagadelic
The shag is back - with choppy layers and sexy bangs, and it's no
secret why it's so popular. It's cool, fun and looks good on anyone.
There's no wrong way to wear this cut: long, short, tousled, sleek-
it just works every time.

This cut - a throwback to that ever-so-popular style of the late '60s
and early '70s - is the latest rage. But the season's shag, is a little
longer than its predecessor, with softer edges and a chunkier look
around the perimeter.

It's also a little more flexible, adapting to all lengths of hair, and it
features a more proportionate cut than the shag of old. Bangs are
also an important part of the look. They should be soft and fringed
and worn long and sexy so they can be pushed out of the eyes.

How to style a sexy-shag?
1. Wash and condition hair.
2. Blot hair with a towel to absorb excess
moisture.
3. If you need more volume, apply to
damp/wet hair.
4. Blow dry while ruffling up the hair with
your fingers.
5. When dry, apply gel to your fingers
and tousle the ends to give your hair
definition and separation.

What to tell your hairdresser?
What to tell your hairdresser?

Ask for long layers in
front and on the sides,
but leave some length
in the back.

You'll want your haircut
with a razor, or ask for
some texturizing at the
ends of your layers.
Texturizing is when the
stylist cuts into the ends
of your hair to make
jagged points, which
adds volume and
movement to your hair.
