The Lakme Fashion House invites entries from young fashion
designers across India. Veteran Designers Abu Jani- Sandeep
Khosla go through all the mails and select 75 designers
per center, inviting 75 contestants per center (Mumbai,
Delhi, Kolkata & Bangalore) to participate in the on-ground
auditions. These 75 are invited to a party hosted by Abu
& Sandeep on a specified date. |
A jury of Abu & Sandeep and a city specific judge will
interview and cross question the 75 through the day and
come down to the final 20. By evening the final 20 will
be announced and be given an over night task to do which
will be judged the next morning and 4 will qualify from
every centre. |
These 4 (from each zone) will live and work together in
a team of 4, for 6 weeks in the Fashion House in Mumbai.
The brief of each team would be to create one outfit per
week. 2 designers will be voted out at the end of each week
at the Mini Fashion Show on Sundays. |
Finally, 6 designers will participate in the GALA FASHION
SHOW and the final winner will get a chance to participate
in the LAKME INDIA FASHION WEEK, 2005. |
